TITLE: Network Support Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Data Center, Hackensack NJ

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Must be available to work additional hours, including off-hours, weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for maintaining computing environment by identifying system requirements, installations and upgrades. This includes:

  • Ensuring system security
  • Monitoring system performance
  • Supporting end users and clients
  • Documenting and testing of applications and networks
  • Cabling and installing computing hardware and installing
  • Maintaining and repairing all computer hardware

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related area or a combination of formal education and computer training that demonstrates a thorough command of computer technology.
  • 4 plus years of relevant work experience (system administration, management of mid-sized system alone or networking knowledge, network hardware configuration maintenance and performance tuning, web infrastructure design, implementation management and performance monitoring).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows systems administration and software support for client applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as superior interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.
