WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must be available to work additional hours as required by operational needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for implementing improvements to existing software operations and development of new software.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related area or a combination of formal education and computer training that demonstrates a thorough command of computer technology.
  • 5 plus years of experience showing advances in responsibility and scope of duties in a software environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of C++ in a UNIX environment.
  • Knowledge of relational database design, programming and information retrieval techniques.
  • Broad knowledge and familiarity with programmer tool sets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of structured programming techniques and practice.
  • Ability to test and debug code.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Tru64 UNIX and Informix ESQL/C is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer telephone calls and take detailed messages for the Finance Department general line and the 4 - person Management Group.
  • Meet and greet visitors to the office in a professional manner.
  • Collate and distribute incoming mail.
  • Process the remittance of disbursements.
  • Coordinate digitized document scanning.
  • Assist Finance/Accounting Department with miscellaneous clerical duties, as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Superior telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and personable demeanor.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • General office experience (preferably Receptionist experience).
