The Abduction from the Seraglio includes some of Mozart’s most spectacular, complex and difficult arias. Two lovely young women are held hostage on the Orient Express and suffer greatly from the advances of their Turkish captors. A carefully planned rescue by their fiancés goes awry, but the Pasha frees them in a surprising gesture of mercy.

MBTA Lift Buses are available on the 43 Bus Route from Park Street to Tremont Street past the Center. These buses run seven days a week until 1 a.m. From The Green Line: Ride the Green Line to Boylston stop. Exit the station and walk to the intersection of Boylston Street and Tremont Streets. Continue on Tremont Street for two blocks to the inter-section of Stuart and Tremont Street. Accessible Parking:
There are three (3) accessible parking spaces available on Tremont Street near the Center and two (2) accessible spaces on Stuart Street in front of the Transportation Building. Only vehicles with proper disabled plates or permits are permitted to park in these spaces. There are accessible covered garages located on Tremont Street next to the Center and in the Transportation Building on South Charles Street.

Walking Directions:
To Wang Theatre - From New England Medical T Stop/Orange Line

Coming from Oak Grove (to Forest Hills) Outbound Side
Turn Right when getting off the train to go to the main exit. (Washington St.). Go to the end of the platform to the stairs. Escalator is on the inside, the stairs are next and the elevator is next to the trackside.

Coming from the Forest Hills to Oak Grove Inbound Track:
Turn left out of the train. Walk to the end of the platform. The escalator is closest to the wall then the stairs then the elevator (which is next to the track)

Turn left once up to the main level to exit station. Exit is closest to the outbound side. From the Inbound side trail wall on right to turnstiles.

Once through turnstiles may take immediately left & follow left wall or may cross large open space contact wall & turn left, trail wall on left. Stairs are next to left wall; elevator is between the stairs and escalator, which is next to the right wall. At top of stairs turn right to main sidewalk. Beware that this area leads to blended curb for crossing to New England Medical, do not walk into the street. Turn left placing Washington St. on right, walk up Washington. Stay near the street side of the sidewalk. Cross two driveways (the first driveway is an exit, the second is the entrance driveway to Floating Hospital). Continue to next street which is Kneeland. (Landmark: Will contact a concrete sidewalk/path within a brick sidewalk.)

Turn left on to Kneeland walking towards Tremont St./1 Block. Turn left at next intersection on to Tremont.

The Wang Theatre is the 2nd building with the large opening & overhanging roof over sidewalk.

To Wang Theatre - GreenLine: Boylston T Stop

No elevator or escalator access! Stations are not Wheelchair Accessible.

Boylston Inbound Stop, (coming from Kenmore heading towards Park St.)

Take Right off train to turnstiles.
Stairs are directly across from turnstiles.
At Sidewalk continue walking straight to the corner of Tremont & Boylston, (Tremont is on the left with Boylston in front of you.)
Traffic signal is audio & if working has locator tone at pole.
Place walk signal pole on right side. Push Ped button (will not get audio unless button is pushed). Walk signal holds all traffic.
Cross Boylston (to Dunkin Donuts Corner).
Continue walking down Tremont away from Boylston St. to next intersection of Stuart, Tremont & Kneeland streets. Turn left at corner, cross Tremont. Turn right to cross Kneeland St./Large Street Crossing-walk signal holds all traffic.
Continue walking down Tremont. The first building is the Wilbur with the Wang being the next building with the large opening & overhanging roof over sidewalk.

To Wang Theatre - Green Line Boylston ‘T’ Stop

Coming from Park towards Kenmore
Take left off train walk to turnstiles; The up stairs are directly across from the turnstiles.
At Street level either walk straight keeping Tremont on your left side or turn left to locate the park curbing, turn right trailing the curbing on left to the Tremont & Boylston Corner (about ½ block away).
Tremont Street should be on left side walking towards Boylston St. The Pedestrian Walk signal is audio & if working has locator tone at pole. Place walk signal pole on your right, push button. Walk signal holds all traffic. Cross Boylston (to Dunkin Donuts Corner).
Continue walking down Tremont away from Boylston St. to next intersection of Stuart, Tremont & Kneeland streets.
Turn left at corner, cross Tremont. Turn right to cross Kneeland St. (Large Street Crossing)
Continue walking down Tremont. The first building is the Wilbur with the Citi Wang being the next building with the large opening & overhanging roof over sidewalk.
